One afternoon while I was at my internship with my mentor Tanya Logan we were talking about foods from different places. Like jerk chicken, different types of pastries and somehow a turkey got thrown into the conversation. I have had oven-baked turkey a lot, thanks to Thanksgiving. But I had never had a fried turkey. So my mentor and I were joking around about me bringing her a turkey and her frying it. Well the joke became reality. My mentor whipped out her turkey fryer like batman whips out his bat-mobile or superman whips his cape and next thing I know is that were in the BJ's Superstore looking for peanut oil to fry with. We also had to find a turkey. We looked everywhere for a turkey. But when we found one I knew right off the bat that I would call him Joe. Yes my friend is a cold turkey, but he wasn't going to be cold for long. Joe sat in preparation for an hour or so then we had to dip him. He was no longer a cold turkey but a very dangerously hot "Jive Turkey"!
